Kamal Hassan is the Chairman of FICCI’s ‘Media and Entertainment Business Conclave’ to be held on November 18 & 19 in Chennai.
The function kick started today (Nov 10) with a press meet at Sheraton Park Hotel & Towers.
FICCI’s ‘Media and Entertainment Business Conclave’ is going to give a big boost to the southern film industry and Kamal is the moving spirit behind it.
The conclave will bring together over 500 media and entertainment people together along with officials of the Tamil Nadu government and the Central Government to deliberate and discuss the entire gamut of the entertainment industry.
The two day conclave will cover media and entertainment like Films, Broadcast mediums like Television and Radio, Digital Entertainment, Animation, Gaming, Visual Effects, Print media and all other new technologies in the entertainment sphere. It will be inaugurated by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi on Nov 18.
Says Kamal Hassan, spotting a new beard: “It is really a great honour to be guiding FICCI’s first ever initiative dedicated to the southern entertainment industry. Our endeavour would be to identify and seek redressal of the issues facing the industry across the states. With an encouraging international participation at the conclave, I am sure its content will be diverse and enriching in a variety of ways.”
