Sridevi Vijaykumar was born in Los Angeles and is the youngest girl child of Tamil Actor Vijayakumar and Manjula, a popular South Indian actress mainly concentrating in Tamil film industry. Sridevi has two older sisters: Preetha and Vanitha, and one older brother: Arun Kumar.
She started off as a child artist and made her debut as heroine in Kathir’s Kadhal Virus. She shifted to Telugu and made it big there. She was critically acclaimed for her performance in AVM’s Priyamana Thozhi with Madhavan. On June 18, 2009; she got married to an “America Mapillai” named Rahul who hails from Hyderabad. Sridevi plans to quit movie industry after marriage and she prefers to become a good homemaker.
