Movie Plot ….
Despite being branded rough and uncouth by everyone Ratnam has a heart of gold. The Seeman of the place, Bhupathi troubles Ratnam a lot but he fearlessly exposes him time and again. Bhupathi’s daughter Chitra falls in love with Ratnam attracted by his qualities. But she does not reveal that she is Bupathi’s daughter. Ratnam, meanwhile, is forced to stop the marriage of his sister Kanakavalli, as the bridegroom is a mentally deranged man. But he is blamed for it, and he leaves the place and joins the military. After a year he comes back, and is shocked to learn that his beloved sister is dead. But he is stunned when he sees her alive in another village. He is, however, devastated when he comes to know the truth. He is further shocked when he finds out that Chitra is the daughter of Bhupathi. He is completely totally disillusioned by everyone around. What does have in store for him really?
