Subramaniapuram (Subramaniyapuram) is a Tamil language feature film produced and directed by Sasi Kumar. The film features Chennai 600028 Rockers Raghu fame ‘Jai’ as Azhagar. ‘Ganja Karupu’ as Kaasi does an important role. ‘Swathi’ previously a tv host in Maa tv, has given a neat performance as Tulasi. Director ‘Samuthurakani’ plays a character in negative shade and has given a decent performance. Last but not the least, the director ‘Sasikumar’ himself plays an superb role in the movie as Jai’s best friend. This is the first time a tamil movie is having a promotional song, a song which does not feature in movie but has been released to media.

The story is about friendship, love and betrayal of both. It deals with the exploitation of unemployed youth by politicians. Azaghar, Paraman and Kaasi are part of a set of five close friends, who are unemployed and pass their time drinking liquor and fooling around in the streets opposite the house of an ex-councillor.
