26 Old Journalist Soumya Viswanathan Shot Dead On
Soumya Viswanathan, a TV Journalist of Headlines Today, was shot dead in Delhi in the wee hours of Tuesday. Soumya was shot dead while driving from her Jhandewalan office to her Vasant Kunj residence. She was 26. According to doctors, one bullet hit her in the head, while the other one was recovered from the tyres of her car.
Soumya spoke with her family just five minutes before her death. The police believe that the assailants first busted the tyres of her car and then fired shot at her. Since the bullet was recovered from her head, it could be the handiwork of a professional hired killer. The motive of the murder is not immediately known.
