Bharathiraaja Blown On Corporates Destroy Tamil Cinema
The man who brought about a change in Tamil cinema Bharathiraaja blasted the corporates for “destroying Tamil cinema”.
An emotionally charged Bharathiraaja at a press conference to announce the release date of his Bommalattam said: “They are like crocodiles, they will stealthily move and eat you up. Compared to them our traditional distributors are like lizards, which move around but are harmless.”
It seems much of the ace directors problems emanate out of the way a corporate took him for a ride after promising to take over Bommalattam.
At the press meet Bharathiraaja, also said, that the film is one of the best he has made so far. “It is a different kind of film. This is the best screenplay I have ever written. Just watch the climax, it is stunning. It is a crime thriller based on the tinsel world.”
