Vekat Prabhu’s Saroja is going strong in Box office Collections even after post Diwali. The movie is drawing repeated audiences to theaters which is a big achievement by Venkat Prabhu.
Saroja in Chennai Box office alone have collected nearly 4 Crores and still going strong. Sources say that Saroja may collect anyway around 5 Crores to 6 Crores in chennai area alone. Industry sources say that Saroja’s overall Box office Collections will be around 15 – 20 Crores.
Saroja revolves around the adventures of four carefree friends who are forced into a life-threatening situation. T. Shiva produced the film under his AMMA Creations banner. Shiva, Vaibhav Reddy, Premji Amaran, S. P. B. Charan, Vega Tamotia, Kajal Aggarwal, Sampath Raj, Nagendran, Prakash Raj and Jayaram star in the lead roles.
Saroja’s score and soundtrack were composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, who is Venkat Prabhu’s cousin. Critics in India and overseas have called Saroja a “refreshing tale,” praising its direction, editing, and screenplay.
